The run, beat by beat

  1. 01

    Pick a route

Choose a viable run based on the current patch state and what the markets are doing this week. Short routes for first-time hauls; the big-aUEC routes will get you killed.

  2. 02

    Pick a ship

Hauler size matters. Match SCU to the run — a Cutlass is plenty for a 24-SCU contract; pulling out a C2 to haul 12 boxes is asking to get jumped.

  3. 03

    Gear up

Before you spawn the ship, pack what you need.

    Stock up at a TDD

Buy the cargo at the right Trade & Development Division terminal. Watch the price tier — buying high and selling lower is how you lose money you don't have.

    Quantum to your buyer

Spool, jump, watch your fuel and your radar. Pirates love the cargo lanes. If you see a contact closing on you mid-QT, things are about to get exciting.

    Land · sell · file

Land at the destination. Open the cargo deck. Sell at the kiosk. Take the screenshot of the trade record — first time you do this it feels like a real job.

    Common 30Ks

Every cargo run is one server crash away from a tax write-off. Here's what they look like, what's recoverable, and what's not.

    Recovery moves

Ship despawned mid-haul? Cargo missing on landing? Bricked an elevator with a full hold? The verse breaks; here's how to file the claim and live with it.
